“The members of our auxiliary were blown away by your presentation yesterday. Not only was it incredibly informative, not only was each speaker interesting, succinct and clear, but the passion which you all displayed was a joy to experience. How many times in a day do we get to witness such caring devoid of any agenda? Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking your precious time to provide us with a program we shall not soon forget. I hope you are ready for an encore as you WILL be hearing from us again.” -Robin

“I have been helped so much by Generations and by my counselor Vicki Doueck I felt it needed more than a condensed version . . . As I have moved through these later decades of my life it seems like I am always having to add another doctor to my list of appointments; from the top of my head to the soles of my feet, on the outside and on the inside, there is hardly an area that does not need help. One thing I have always maintained is to avoid random choices, and so have made it a practice to do all things by referral, whether from friend or family. For this reason I know for certain that I came to Generations Care & Counseling by this method, although in this case I am at a loss to recall from where the referral came, only to say that I am glad to have been directed there. Vicki Doueck is the third counselor I have seen in my lifetime; I would say that all counselors probably devote 80% or more of their time to listening, which is very appropriate since most clients need a listening ear with no agenda attached. The vast difference I have seen in Vicki’s counsel is that, while my previous helpers would offer suggestions of an almost purely clinical nature, Vicki offers the very significant addition of experience, of having been “in the trenches” during her life, and of a very competent knowledge of treatments and medications. This has given to me a sense of assurance, a strong confidence and trust in what she brings to the conversation. She is supportive without the slightest hint of patronization or popular cultural trends, and this makes her input of great value; I can rely on her to be serious and genuine. My time there is quite well spent, and I can only repeat that I am grateful to have been directed to a place of real help.” – Carl Ambrosano
“In my career in Senior Health Care I have worked with Generations and their Care Management services for many of my clints who required complex care and special needs. Generations has always met those needs with competent, professional and compassionate care. I have worked closely with Pat Linard and her Marketing endeavors, for Generations and I would say that she has continued to promote the company with the utmost expertise and knowledge of her product.. She is also sensitive and compassionate- qualities necessary to recognize the special needs and services of those complex cases and clients Generations serves.” -Lynne Bennett
“The company is wonderful. They provide a fantastic resource for elder care services, both for the person who needs assistance and for the family members looking for care for their parents. Stacey was kind and patient, helping us find both in home care and then helping us with our search for an assisted living facility. They care about the services they provide and it shows!”- Julie
“I was referred to Stacey Maines regarding some concerns we had about my mom entering into an assisted living facility due to some of the difficulties she was having with activities of daily living related to her recent worsening memory. Before meeting my mother, Stacey first met with me to discuss what our goals were for my mom and to get some background information. She was incredibly thorough and thoughtful during the process and clearly had a desire to understand my mom and her needs. In our second meeting when my mom was present, Stacey made a concerted effort to ensure my mom’s desires in her next living situation were thoroughly understood in order to make a smooth transition during a very exciting but stressful time. I believe Stacy listened to the family’s concerns with an ultimate focus on my mom’s needs when making recommendations for facilities. Stacy was very accessible throughout the whole process, and even visited the facility during the first weeks after Mom moved in. She clearly has a passion for what she does and is focused on making sure she understands her clients’ needs. I appreciated her time and attention to truly listen and learn about my mom as a complete person during that process. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs guidance for themselves or relatives to make the transition to the next stage of life.” -Tom Willemann
“Wonderful company that provides excellent and compassionate services to their clients, I highly recommend Generations for the wonderful services they provide to their clients.” -Maurice G
“Stacey Maines is a kind and professional care manager. I am eternally grateful for her help and guidance during my mother’s battle with cancer. Mom was resistant to bringing care into her home despite her need. We brought in Stacey as a neutral third party, and she talked mom through the assessment process and recommended local caregivers. We eventually found a caregiver through Stacey who was amazing and a great fit. Stacey also helped to explain what a transition to hospice would be like in a compassionate and extremely knowledgeable way. I highly recommend Generations Counseling & Care Management.” -Melissa
“Laura and the staff at Generations are a welcome resource for families with seniors that need guidance on their physical/mental health and well being.” – Mark R.
“We consulted with Stacey when my mom was being released from a nursing home and we needed permanent caregivers at home. Stacey met with my parents and my siblings and was so knowledgeable in her assessment of my mother (and father), which helped us to understand our options and get the appropriate level of care in the home. If you are dealing with eldercare issues, I highly recommend you consult with Generations.” – Linda Dunne
“Incredible experience at such a challenging time. Generations staff was so well informed and helpful. My family and I were grieving and couldn’t think clearly. They knew how to navigate the adult care community so well. We were given a counselor who helped us at critical times with critical decisions. I highly recommend them.” -Mairead Jensen
